Panasonic Communications Solutions Group Selects BigMachines Sales Configuration, Quoting and Proposal Solution

Communications equipment and electronics leader selects BigMachines to empower sales channels with simplified quoting and ordering

Chicago, IL and Frankfurt, Germany - December 9, 2008 - BigMachines, leading provider of on-demand configuration and proposal software, announced today that Panasonic's Communications Solutions Group has selected BigMachines to provide on-demand software to streamline quote and order processes for its sales of advanced communication systems.

Panasonic's Enhanced Communications Solutions portfolio offers a comprehensive range of business and home office communications solutions including digital and IP Telephony phone systems, call center and industry specific applications, as well as IP based network video cameras for remote monitoring. Panasonic sells these products through an extensive distribution network. BigMachines is providing web-based software to enable these extended sales teams to easily configure and price communications solutions, generate proposals, contracts, and other sales documents and automatically route approvals through the organization.

The BigMachines solution will also integrate with systems across the Panasonic ecosystem to minimize duplicate data entry. BigMachines provides enterprise-strength, on-demand hosting services, enabling Panasonic's sales team and channels to easily access data and applications from anywhere with an internet connection.
