User Experience (UX) / Javascript / ExtJS Developer

The UX Developer will have the opportunity to put their stamp on an enterprise web application that is used by hundreds of companies. This includes developing front-end UX code (using JAVASCRIPT and the ExtJS framework library) that will be directly used in production, as well as quickly designing and building UI prototypes for future functionality. We need of highly motivated, innovative individuals who can learn quickly, grow with the company, and look forward to the challenge of delighting our customers and building our business.

Required Capabilities:

• Degree in Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction (HCI), or related field
• Top-notch object-oriented JAVASCRIPT programming skills and experience is a must. This includes a firm understanding of concepts such as scoping, inheritance, and front-end script optimization.
• Proven ability to rapidly learn new languages on own
• Awesome knowledge of user interface design processes and methodologies
• Knowledge of capabilities and limitations of web technologies (Javascript, CSS, HTML, AJAX), including cross-browser functionality
• Outstanding critical thinking and communication (both written and oral) skills
• Must be a self-starter, and able to work fast and efficiently with low supervision
• Experience working with ExtJS framework, or other related frameworks such as Prototype, Scriptaculous, etc.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in the following: XSLT, XSL:FO, SOAP/WSDL, JAVA, JSP
• Graphic/Web Design skills
