Administrative Assistant

BigMachines, Inc., a profitable, rapidly growing web software company (www.bigmachines.com) located in Deerfield, IL (Chicago north suburbs), is in search of a new Administrative Assistant. The company has been growing 50-100% p.a., led by a strong management team, and backed by strong financial investors who are looking for the company to continue driving rapid growth and value creation.
The Administrative Assistant will manage many of the day to day office activities and provide support to the company’s executive team in the Deerfield office. This rapidly growing organization is in need of a highly motivated individual who looks forward to the challenge of helping in creating, building, and growing our business.
The Administrative Assistant position will report to the Controller with responsibilities to the rest of the executive team as well.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the executive management team located in Deerfield.
- Update and maintain records within the company’s Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce.com).
- Handle incoming telephone calls to the general BigMachines number.
- Receive and direct visitors as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean office environment.
- Run external errands related to office management.
Requirements:
- Two years of administrative experience.
- Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- High aptitude and ability to learn rapidly.
- High energy, highly motivated, and capable of working without supervision and detailed instructions.
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial spirit and desire to do whatever it takes to help a young, growing company succeed
- Strong PC skills and experience operating various types of office equipment.
