SaaS Sales Configuration, Quoting and Proposal Leader Continues Year-Over-Year Growth in North America, EMEA and Asia, Accelerating Innovation Worldwide
Chicago IL -- February 1, 2011 -- BigMachines, Inc., the leader in product configuration, pricing and quoting, proposal generator and B2B ecommerce, today announced the company achieved another record year in 2010 with 77 percent year-over-year growth in recurring revenue and 72 percent growth in total revenue, along with more than $47 million in contract bookings. The company achieved more than 65 new customer wins. In addition, BigMachines generated substantially positive cash flow for the year and achieved GAAP profitability in 2010.
As the momentum in cloud computing and improving sales productivity continued to grow, BigMachines helped its customers sell more and sell faster by licensing its enterprise strength software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution to more than 125,000 users. More than 20 percent of new customer accounts were in EMEA. BigMachines' customer base now includes 240 companies in a broad variety of industries including high tech, software, medical instrumentation, manufacturing, telecom, media, business services, and financial services.
In 2010, BigMachines hired 100 talented professionals and grew its staff to more than 250 team members globally to expand its product development, service and support, sales and marketing teams in order to accelerate product innovation and provide a premium level of service to its growing customer base. The company also grew its international presence by doubling staff in its European offices, including Frankfurt and London, as well as expanding its presence in Asia through offices in Tokyo and Singapore.

The company also continued to grow its vibrant My BigIdea social innovation community that has generated 800 ideas for new product features and enhancements and more than 6,500 votes on priorities.
