Junior Product Manager/Usability Engineer
Type: Full Time, 40 hrs/week

Location: West Coast: BigMachines Office in San Mateo, CA(SF Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
This hands-on position is part of the development team reporting to the Director of Products:
- Play a key role as you contribute to the BigMachines LFE product roadmap, feature set, and market success for our best in class software
- Create high quality technical functional specifications based on the MRDs for all new features
- Clearly define scope of projects based on requirements, keeping the product generic and flexible
- Become "Go to" person for assigned product modules for professional services, engineering and QA
Required Capabilities:
- Dynamic and resourceful with a high level of energy.
- Quickly learn about the BigMachines solution and how this can meet customer needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent from a reputed college or university
- Experience with UI design and/or application prototyping
Desired Experience:
- 1+ years experience in industry
- Experience in programming and software development
- Experience with product design, UI design and/or application prototyping
- Experience with web applications including knowledge of web services, XML/XSL, HTML
- Experience in working with rules based systems and/or workflow management systems, is highly desirable
