We launched BigMachines in early 2000
with a vision to provide businesses with innovative software-as-a-service (SaaS) solutions that empower people to sell more and sell faster.
Our company has grown a lot since then, but our overall vision has not changed, and our growth clearly indicates that the need is there – more than ever.
We recently announced another record year in 2010, with 77 percent year-over-year growth in recurring revenue and 72 percent growth in total revenue, along with more than $47 million in contract bookings—and we achieved this by focusing on the needs of our customers and by delivering the
most innovative and robust B2B sales platform to meet those needs.
I am very excited to witness the growth of our company, the growth of the SaaS market, and the growth that many of our customers have experienced in their businesses.
In the past 10 years, I have talked with thousands of people in companies around the world about their B2B sales challenges. Many continue to be constrained by inefficient manual processes and outdated solutions—and I found surprisingly similar challenges across diverse industries and across regions from North America to Europe to Asia. We can help these companies improve their selling processes, just as we have done for our existing customers. BigMachines’ customer base now includes 240 companies in a broad variety of industries including high tech, software, medical instrumentation, manufacturing, telecom, media, business services, and financial services.
As the momentum in cloud computing and improving sales productivity continues to grow, BigMachines will continue to accelerate our investments in our product innovation, services, and supporting infrastructure to ensure that we provide on-going innovations to businesses across industries and across the world. I'm very proud of the dedicated and talented team at BigMachines who have all contributed to our success and I look forward to continuing to provide our customers with the most innovative selling platform on the market.

New Product! BigMachines
QuickConfig
BigMachines QuickConfig is the first BigMachines product built natively on the Force.com platform to automate product selection and eliminate errors.
QuickConfig adds Guided Selling to Salesforce Real-Time Quotes to empower sales reps to select the best mix of products for each customer by following a series of pre-defined questions, and easily add them to sales quotes and opportunities. While QuickConfig offers the same configuration rules as BigMachines Sales Engine, it is not suitable for all organizations. In general, QuickConfig is a great fit for those who have a small group of users, are currently using Salesforce Real-Time Quotes, and who want to add configuration. For larger needs and more complex cases, we suggest using the more full-featured BigMachines 11 selling platform.
