In this example from Enterasys Networks, users select service contracts for renewal from within their CRM system. The corresponding line items are automatically pulled into a BigMachines quote. The contract start and end dates are displayed and the contract can be easily extended or renewed.

Once a service contract is selected, the corresponding line items are automatically pulled into the BigMachines configurator, with covered hardware, service level (represented by service SKU), contract details, and install location information. This line-level information is populated from the ERP system.
