Software Trainer

Location - Deerfield, IL

BigMachines, Inc., a profitable, rapidly growing web software company (www.bigmachines.com) founded in 2000 with offices in Deerfield, IL (Chicago north suburbs), San Mateo, CA (Peninsula/Bay Area), and Frankfurt Germany, is in search of talented team members. The primary responsibility of the software trainer is to conduct and create training curriculum for administration of the BigMachines software.

Duties

• Learn and become an expert in the BigMachines software
• Deliver training sessions to customers and employees
• Develop and maintain written/electronic training materials used in customer and employee training sessions
• Improve and expand training curriculum to increase attendance and grow training revenue
• Develop Web Based self-led training programs
• Create short course instructor lead web based training curriculums for specific features of the software

Qualifications

• Strong software technology experience with web-based eBusiness applications.
• Ability and desire to learn BigMachines software applications in order to improve training materials and deliver classes to customers
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent MSOffice/Powerpoint skills
• 2 years experience with developing and delivery training materials/courses in a corporate environment
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent analytical skills.
• High initiative, strong work ethic, and interest in new technology and software applications
• Quick learner and able to self-train and pick up new skills as necessary
• Consulting or business process/change experience preferred but not required
• 4 year BS/BA degree from a major college or university
